Frequently Asked Questions

We have put together a number of frequently asked questions below. If you have any question that’s not in this list then please don’t hesitate to email our event team at farnhampilgrim@gmail.com with your question.

Can I defer my entry or request a refund?

No fees are refundable under any circumstances, except when an application is declined by the organisers. Fees received from applicants who do not eventually run will be treated as a donation to charity. Unfortunately you can’t defer your place to the following year. But we do allow your entry to be transferred to another runner.

The minimum age to enter either of our races is 18 years of age.

Date entries close on the 8th September 2026 at 0800

Yes; all participants that complete the half or full marathon are awarded a finishers medal.

A baggage facility will be provided and the organisers will take care to secure possessions, but no responsibility will be accepted for loss or damage.

Yes, our half and full marathon courses are measured and certified with a high degree of precision to be accuracy. Both courses will be officially recognised by UK Athletics (UKA), and have both a, valid race licence and a, formally approved course measurement certificate.

Yes; it is your decision if you want to run for your chosen charity.

Yes; portable toilets are at the start / finish area.

Yes; there is ample parking supplied in designated areas near the start / finish area. Please note the parking is on grass and can potentially get muddy.

Results usually will be officially available within 3 – 5 days after the event (Sports Timing Solutions). A link to the results will be posted here on our homepage on our website. We have a team of photographers (official and unofficial) at the start / finish and around the route. We will post a selection of these pictures here on our website and socials. If you don’t want your picture to be posted, please email the event team at farnhampilgrim@gmail.com

There are plenty of refreshment options at the start / finish area.

Each course has several drink stations. There will also be water at the finish. Please deposit your water bottles in the recycle bins at the finish area.
